Hannah is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Ohio and has been practicing as a counselor since 2021. She graduated from Cedarville University in 2020 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Bible minor. She then went on to complete her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Xavier University in 2022.
Hannah worked as a counselor trainee for Mental Health America, where she counseled uninsured/underinsured clients primarily based in Cincinnati State’s counseling services. She has served adults of all ages with concerns related to anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, relationship issues, substance use issues, grief, borderline personality disorder, and general life stress. She approaches these concerns with an eclectic approach by utilizing solution-focused therapy, reality therapy, CBT, person-centered therapy, strengths-based approaches, and other strategies that are evidence-based and targeted toward the presenting problem (DBT, Forgiveness Therapy, etc.).
Hannah spent the majority of her formative years living in Beijing, China. This experience helped her develop respect for many cultures and a strong conviction that all people deserve care regardless of their background or current circumstances. She believes people have multiple realms of wellness including mental, physical, emotional, social, occupational, and spiritual, and each area should be addressed to provide sustained improvement in overall health.
