Hi. My name is John and I am an intern attending Wright State University. I have a bachelor's degree in Accounting and have worked as an accountant for two years. I have also been a manager in the service industry for five years. After I complete my licensure requirements for Mental Health Counseling, I hope to further my education by attending a doctorate program in Psychology. I hope to apply personal skills on a larger and larger scale, where they are needed.
In my counseling profession, I hope to help people attain what they truly want, whether that be a tangible goal or an intangible state of mind. I do not pretend to know what these things may be, for each individual, even if they have the same goal as another, will want to pursue it in their own way. Even though it may not feel like it in today’s busy and complex society, we still have freedom to choose. We can all choose wisely.
