Hi, I’m Kaitlin! I am a licensed Social Worker in Ohio. I am passionate about helping others and using my experience and skills to assist others through their difficulties. I help others through a variety of approaches including a holistic approach. I believe in looking at all aspects of your life: mind, body, and spirit. I received my master’s degree in Social Work from Walden University and got my undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University. I have been practicing in the field for 3 years. I have faced various struggles in my own life and am here to help you navigate your life and reach your full potential!
I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and the purpose is to guide clients to increase self-awareness, gain new perspectives, decrease symptoms, and increase personal strengths to have a more meaningful life experience. My approach is to provide support, without judgment, to help clients effectively address their personal life challenges. I believe that growth and healing can happen in those “aha” moments and through processing difficulties in a meaningful way. I utilize treatment modalities such as CBT, Solution-Focused therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Strengths-Based approaches, and Trauma-Focused CBT to help others get relief from tough feelings and experiences.
Spirituality is another passion of mine and I can incorporate that for individuals looking for a spiritual/mindful approach to their struggles.
I have experience working with children, teens, and adults and am skilled in the following areas:
Depression
Anxiety
Bipolar Disorder
PTSD/trauma
Mood Disorders
Teen Issues such as Peer Pressure, Self-Esteem, etc.
Anger and Stress Management
I believe that everyone’s life can get better! It may take some time, work, and dedication, but it is ABSOLUTELY possible, and I am here to help you achieve your goals.
