One of the most courageous first steps any person can take toward healing and mental health is setting up an appointment with a therapist. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, it is my privilege to partner with my clients in creating a unique plan to handling life’s challenges. My primary goal with every client I see is the creation of a collaborative relationship built upon trust, honesty, and authenticity. I strive to create an environment in which each individual feels safe to explore difficult thoughts, emotions, and memories free from judgment. With each client, we will work together to develop distinct healthy and creative habits to help reach your goals. I believe that every client who walks through my door has the potential to create significant change in their life.
I received my Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s in Counseling from Cincinnati Christian University. I specialize in working with a diverse set of clients ranging from children to adults. In working with a diverse set of clients, I draw from a variety of treatment methods including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. My specialties include helping clients with anger management, life adjustments and transitions, depression, anxiety, school problems, stress management, low self-esteem and social skills development.
“Anything that's human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary.”- Fred Rogers
